Sinopsis
Estas entrevistas presentan la gama sorprendente de experiencias que motivan a una generación que se niega a serlo. Uno de los autores ni siquiera nació en México (David Miklos, adoptado en Estados Unidos), dos no contestaron las preguntas desde el DF (Antonio Ortuño responde desde Guadalajara y Cristina Rascón Castro, desde China) y todavía otro escribe de un México donde se gasta en dólares y se maneja un idioma desconocido (Ruy Xoconostle). Dos de los entrevistados se identifican como niños freak que se transformaron en artistas de éxito (Bernardo Fernández "Bef" y Guadalupe Nettel). Dos recuerdan afinidades por la estetica dark (Alberto Chimal y Ernesto Murguía). Tres de ellos hablan del peso de los cambios abruptos: tragedia personal (Socorro Venegas), tragedia nacional (Orfa Alarcón) y la renuncia deliberada de oportunidades (Nadia Villafuerte). Otros tres contemplan las razones tras la manera de abordar el sexo en la literatura contemporánea (Vicente Alfonso, Bernardo Esquinca, Felipe Soto Viterbo). Es de este modo que todos los géneros literarios quedan representados por uno o varios de estos escritores.
