En esta obra se presentan algunas de las reflexiones generadas a partir del análisis de los paisajes rurales sostenibles; además, se hacen consideraciones sobre los riesgos en la agricultura y la necesidad de comprenderlos cuando se pretendan generar políticas o proyectos. También, se analizan los paisajes sostenibles en sistemas productivos de frutales, el cultivo de la palma y las alternativas para manejar los residuos de las cosechas forestales, que se generan.
