Este libro recoge los testimonios de las víctimas de aquel fatídico 15 de septiembre de 2008. Patricia Monreal y Verónica García Magaña, periodistas de gran trayectoria en Michoacán, se dieron a la tarea de registrar las voces de los que padecieron aquel trágico suceso en carne viva. Un necesario e ineludible acto de memoria colectivo, que exige justicia para las víctimas y castigo para los que llevaron a cabo este acto criminal, así como la reconstrucción fehaciente de los hechos desde una perspectiva histórica, que nos permita a todas y a todos repensar el camino que el país ha tomado en los últimos años.
