El tiempo transcurrido entre finales de 2019 y 2022, en el marco del mayor drama social, económico y de salud pública del último siglo, constituye una de las secuencias más intensas y productivas del espacio de la concertación social en la historia de España. La consolidación y nueva subida del salario mínimo interprofesional (que en la actualidad afecta a 1,8 millones de personas), la utilización de los ERTE como herramienta clave para sostener el empleo, la revalorización de las pensiones o la aprobación de la reforma laboral han sido algunos de los hitos más importantes de los últimos años. Unai Sordo hace un repaso de todos ellos comenzando por los tiempos previos a la pandemia y nos va relatando cómo cambió la actividad sindical durante la crisis sanitaria y a qué nuevos retos tuvo esta que hacer frente. Desde entonces, las medidas pactadas en el marco del diálogo social han supuesto una gran movilización de recursos a través de diversas prestaciones sociales. Como dice el propio Unai Sordo, “los agentes sociales nos hemos constituido como un referente ineludible en la pandemia, y como el principal anclaje de legitimidad complementaria a los poderes ejecutivo y legislativo”.
