La obra es resultado del trabajo de investigación acerca de la compresión de la historia y la memoria; la utilidad del testimonio en la narración del pasado, el punto de vista del devenir y la importancia de pensar las posibilidades del presente; sobre las variadas concepciones de la ruralidad y el papel de lo sonoro en la construcción de la memoria. Presentamos así el resultado de muchos días de trabajo y reflexión conjunta, pero además presentamos varios ejercicios que intentan mostrar la importancia del pensamiento en lo que respecta al presente y sus retos. Es cierto: la filosofía y sus conceptos son herramientas imprescindibles para la compresión de la realidad, y para la fundamentación y crítica de todo proyecto de transformación social. Solo hace falta algo más que decir esto; en definitiva, hace falta mostrarlo.
