En el entramado textual y epistemológico de este ensayo, las nociones de diáspora y memoria son ejes fundamentales con respecto a la identidad judía. Con ellas se deshilan las complejidades y se concretizan las perspectivas de las escritoras judeomexicanas incluidas en este estudio: Margo Glantz, Sabina Berman, Rosa Nissán y Sara Levi-Calderón, quienes hacen valer un yo creativo rebelde y consciente que reivindica y legitimiza, mediante la apropiación de la palabra, la historia de los judíos. Asimismo, son espacios de resistencia los escritos de las autoras mencionadas, quienes asumen la tarea de contar el mundo de ayer y de hoy.
