En este libro se muestra por medio de una docena de trabajos la importancia de las interrelaciones del fenómeno esotérico (entendido desde un punto de vista académico) con otros ámbitos sociales, que en este caso han sido la literatura, el arte plástico, la política y la participación de las mujeres, todo lo anterior conformado, no de manera aislada, sino dentro de un campo de acción que denominamos esoterósfera, mostrado aquí no tanto de una forma teórica, como se hizo antes en el libro Esoterósfera. Diez ensayos sobre esoterismo, política y literatura (2023), sino de forma puntual en la vida mexicana de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y la primera del XX: espiritismo y feminismo, teosofía en Felipe Carrillo Puerto, espiritismo y novela policiaca, el esoterismo del pintor Gerardo Murillo (Dr. Atl), la novela rosacruz en México, etc. Esperamos que de esta manera se modifique y amplíe el horizonte de conocimiento de los lectores con la incorporación del elemento esotérico en la historia cultural.
