Este libro es resultado del I Congreso Mexicano sobre Mobbing y otras Formas de Violencia en Instituciones, realizado del 9 al 11 de julio en la Rectoría General de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Ciudad de México, 2015 (<https://mobbing2015.wordpress.com>), organizado por la red del Programa para el Desarrollo Profesional Docente “Salud, condiciones de vida y políti-cas sociales” (<https://redscvps.wordpress.com>), con la colaboración de la Red Iberoamericana por la Dignidad en el Trabajo y en las Organizaciones y la Asociación Mexicana Contra el Mobbing A. C. Se publican los textos que fueron dictaminados positivamente.
Por tanto, en esta obra el lector encontrará las investiga-ciones de diversos especialistas en el tema de la violen-cia, específicamente de mobbing. La obra se conforma de 8 capítulos organizados en cinco temáticas y un análisis de los trabajos que fueron expuestos durante el congreso.
Asimismo, el tomo tendrá una versión en formato digital, con lo cual se pretende llegar a más lectores inte-resados en la materia, así como invitar a nuevos partici-pantes a los eventos relacionados con la visibilización de las violencias cotidianas, que pueden presentarse de forma sutil, en los espacios institucionalizados.
