Música y músicos en Querétaro (siglo XIX-XXI): notas para una obertura
Sinopsis
La música, se ha dicho, es el lenguaje universal. A través del sonido, se comunican emociones, sentimientos y discursos. La música puede servir para distinguir a un grupo, una región o una clase y sus cambios o permanencias nos pueden brindar elementos para acercarnos al conocimiento de la sociedad que la produce o la consume. En este trabajo, se presentan cinco aportaciones a la historia de la música en el estado de Querétaro, desde la música y los músicos que se escuchaban en Querétaro en la época de don Porfirio hasta la escena de la trova, pasando por la música y los músicos en Colón, Querétaro, la Estudiantina Santiago de Querétaro y el desarrollo del jazz en la ciudad capital del estado de Querétaro. A través de estos artículos, la y los investigadores recuperan actores, obras y complejizan el desarrollo de la música en un espacio y tiempo determinados. La obra en conjunto aporta al conocimiento de procesos sociales y de consumo musical y abre la vía a nuevas investigaciones que profundicen y den continuidad a lo aquí presentado.
