En esta obra los autores investigan, reflexionan, analizan y dan voz a dos de los actores principales del proceso educativo en nivel secundaria: docentes y alumnos, quienes enfrentan dificultades importantes en el marco de una educación a distancia por la pandemia provocada por el virus SARS-CoV-2. Ante las situaciones inéditas y condiciones vulnerables para llevar a cabo su función, así como la incertidumbre respecto a las formas de enseñanza y logro de aprendizajes, emergen tensiones generadas por la intensificación del trabajo, la falta de competencias digitales, la precaria comunicación con los alumnos, así como la irrupción de una escuela virtual en los hogares.
