Sinopsis
El presente texto pretende contribuir en la formación integral de los jóvenes universitarios, es decir, ir más allá de la dimensión académica propia de su licenciatura y formar en otras dimensiones que conforman la persona. En efecto, en el capítulo uno se aborda desde una perspectiva filosófica cómo se ha gestado la comprensión que el ser humano ha logrado de sí mismo como persona, qué dimensiones la conforman y, sobre todo, su valor intrínseco y el respeto de sus derechos. En el capítulo dos se aborda la personalidad: qué es, cómo se forma y las dificultades que pueden darse en su desarrollo. Por último, en el capítulo tres se tratan las relaciones interpersonales: su origen, su importancia y las múltiples variables que están presentes en ellas.
A pesar de las muchas y graves dificultades que enfrenta México, y particularmente sus jóvenes, no se debe claudicar en el trabajo por una sociedad más justa, más humana y en paz. La tarea de ser una mejor persona y de formar mejores personas es una tarea insoslayable. Dijo Martin Luther King: “Si ayudo a una sola persona a tener esperanza, no habré vivido en vano”.
