Sinopsis
Los textos que componen este volumen son producto del Tercer Congreso Bienal de la Red Latinoamericana de Estudios de Traducción e Interpretación (RELAETI) que organizó la Universidad Católica de Temuco (Chile) en octubre 2020, dando continuidad a los fructíferos congresos de México (Zacatecas, 2018) y Argentina (Córdoba, 2020), cuyos trabajos ha acogido también esta casa editorial. Las investigaciones que aquí se presentan cubren distintas épocas y lugares del continente hispanoamericano, y adoptan enfoques diversos: lingüísticodiscursivo, histórico, social, filosófico, que atañen tanto a la traducción escrita como a la interpretación. Perspectivas traductológicas desde América Latina se aproxima a lo que podría caracterizar una traductología latinoamericana, menos centrada en las búsquedas de carácter teórico y más interesadas en explorar las temáticas que marcaron y siguen marcando la convivencia, a ratos amable y no pocas veces conflictiva, entre las distintas comunidades y lenguas del continente.
