Sinopsis
Más allá de la educación tradicional, es decir, del simple hecho de impartir un conocimiento, actualmente la educación ambiental tiene gran interés en relacionar al hombre con su entorno y busca un cambio de actitud, una toma de conciencia sobre la importancia de conservar para el futuro y para mejorar nuestra calidad de vida. La adopción de una actitud consciente ante el medio que nos rodea, del cual formamos parte indisoluble, depende en gran medida de la enseñanza en todos los niveles educativos y, con mayor exigencia, de los jóvenes que estudian desde el nivel medio superior hasta el posgrado. Por esta razón, corresponde a las escuelas el conocer la importancia que tienen las auditorías ambientales internas, ya que tienen como fin mejorar la infraestructura y la aplicación de programas ambientales para desempeñar un papel fundamental en el currículum, como el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el conocimiento ambiental de nuestros universitarios.
