Relatos Humanos es un libro de relatos cuya acción tiene como eje central el Departamento de Recursos Humanos de una empresa tecnológica que se ha visto abocada a poner en marcha procesos de reestructuración, donde el clima es tenso y se viven situaciones que se pueden dar en cualquier empresa real: prejubilaciones inesperadas, despidos, ascensos, rumorología y mal ambiente profesional, cambios de dirección, enchufismo... y todos los empleados ven a RRHH como ejecutores de un "plan perverso" que sólo miran por el negocio. Todo ello contado desde el punto de vista de Irene Díaz de Otazu, su directora de Recursos Humanos, que narra cómo vive ella estas situaciones, cómo las gestiona, cómo siente el impacto que estas producen en los empleados, compañeros e incluso amigos y qué emociones dejan en los diferentes personaje.
