Sinopsis
En esta investigación se aborda la experiencia de ordenamiento territorial de una muestra de ciudades intermedias en el Valle del Cauca, Colombia: Yumbo, Guadalajara de Buga y Cartago. En el libro se indaga ¿cómo, y hasta qué punto, la política de ordenamiento territorial municipal ha propiciado acciones para la sustentabilidad en las ciudades intermedias del Valle del Cauca, entre los años 1997 y 2011? Se argumenta que la sustentabilidad implica un proceso de deliberación sobre el futuro colectivo y el espacio de decisión creado por los palnes de ordenamiento territorial permite explorar cómo los municipios adoptaron estrategias en este sentido.
