Tejer en tiempos de Paz: experiencias del país rural
Sinopsis
Iniciando el 2016, Colombia estaba a la espera de resolver un acuerdo
de paz entre el gobierno del presidente Juan Manuel Santos y las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc). Luego de un largo
y complejo proceso de negociación, que había iniciado oficialmente 4 de
septiembre de 2012, se vislumbraba la luz para este. No obstante, los distintos actores de la sociedad entendíamos que la paz no llegaría meramente
con este acuerdo. Por el contrario, configurar la paz supondría transitar
entre cuestionar las prácticas sociales, económicas, políticas y culturales
ahincadas a una guerra civil de más de cincuenta años y proponer otras
que recuperen la fraternidad y la cooperación como valores nacionales.
Ante estos escenarios, en la Universidad de La Salle, mediante la Cátedra
Institucional Lasallista, considerábamos de vital importancia hacer visible
a quienes han sido protagonistas de paz, a pesar de la guerra. Mujeres,
hombres y comunidades que, frente a problemas como la desigualdad
social y la marginación, han construido experiencias de vida colectivas y
sustentables en defensa de la vida y el territorio.
