Sinopsis
Del 18 al 20 de mayo de 2011, en Mérida, Yucatán, se llevó a cabo el VII Congreso de la Asociación Mexicana de Estudios del Trabajo A. C., El trabajo en la crisis, desafíos y oportunidades, organizado a partir de 17 mesas temáticas, una de las cuales fue la denominada Violencia en el trabajo. Debido a la necesidad de profundizar y seguir difundiendo en México la existencia del asedio grupal o mobbing en diferentes contextos institucionales, así como para realizar su análisis, los autores y autoras de diez trabajos escribieron sus contribuciones, que se presentan como los artículos reunidos en este libro. Por tanto, esta obra es un esfuerzo académico colectivo por develar las múltiples formas que adquiere el asedio grupal, así como por dar cuenta de los elementos subjetivos (representaciones, emociones, sentimientos, etc.), objetivos (políticas institucionales, empresariales, prácticas de asedio, impactos, etc.), los contextos, las prácticas y las interrelaciones entre los actores que intervienen en su surgimiento y desarrollo.
