Sinopsis
La "Revolución del 86" y la feroz reacción del gobierno con la matanza de la Plaza de las Tres Culturas sacude los cimientos de la sociedad mexicana. La agitación estudiantil es fruto de todas las torpezas del pasado, la represión gubernamental viene a confirmar el triunfo del inmovilismo: pero una nueva herida ha quedado abierta. Pocos libros representan con mayor fidelidad el México posterior a la matanza de Tlatelolco que Violeta-Perú, del escritor veracruzano Luis Arturo Ramos. De la generación del cincuenta Ramos ha recogido la compleja y disciplinada estructura narrativa para crear diversos planos de la realidad presentes y a la vez huidizos, creando una dinámica textual que no corresponde necesariamente con la dinámica argumental. Como otros escritores de su generación el México de los marginados se convierte en el gran protagonista, hay una insensata avidez por encontrar una realidad satisfactoria y la única salida es el humor abatido de los grandes y anónimos derrotados.
