Sinopsis
El conjunto de artículos de crítica literaria y cultural de este libro presenta un panorama parcial de los horizontes teóricos y temáticos de la Escuela de Estudios Literarios de la Universidad del Valle, en cuya Maestría en Literatura Colombiana y Latinoamericana se han formado sus autoras y autores.
El trabajo crítico desplegado en este libro tiene como objetos la dramaturgia de Andrés Caicedo, un sketch de iQuac! El Noticero, algunos cuentos del libro Silencio de Clarice Lispector, el concepto de «identidad latinoamericana», las novelas El amor y otros demonios de Gabriel García Márquez y El fusilamiento del diablo de Manuel Zapata Olivella; además, del subgénero novela histórica, Mambrú, de R. H. Moreno Durán, La ruidosa marcha de los mudos, de Juan Álvarez, El ruido de las cosas al caer de Juan Gabriel Vásquez y La sombra de Orión, de Pablo Montoya. Por último, la traducción del alemán al español de una entrevista de Antonio Skármeta sitúa su obra en los horizontes de la interculturalidad.
